Actual credit repair can take years. That is why some people opt for bankruptcy. No one can say which way any individual should go. There are different credit scores and different circumstances for everyone. There are two ways for actual credit repair and they have both been mentioned. One is making arrangements with your creditors and the other is bankruptcy. There are different types of bankruptcy for different circumstances and goals. Trying to obtain credit repair is working in the right direction. How you go about doing it is an individual choice.
