File A Bankruptcy Reorganization Plan

Under Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings, you can file a bankruptcy reorganization plan, which allows you to catch up on any delinquent payments that you might owe, as well as resume monthly payments toward those debts. Bankruptcy reorganization plans generally last from three to five years in duration, which varies according to your ability to repay your debts, as well as the amount of outstanding debt that you owe. While some priority debts must be paid in full within the life of the bankruptcy reorganization plan, such as child support arrearages, other debts may not be always be fully paid by the plan. In this case, assuming that you complete all other requirements of the Chapter 13 reorganization plan, you are entitled to a discharge of the remaining balances on those debts.
