Repair Bad Credit

There are limited options to repair bad credit. It can be done, it just may not seem like the perfect plan until you have all of the facts. Bad credit follows people wherever they go. Employers check credit before hiring someone, rental properties check credit scores before renting houses or apartments and even utilities check credit before providing services to someone. If someone has bad credit and they decide to work to pay off their creditors, that's great. It usually doesn't work though. If someone couldn't pay their creditors before and the income hasn't changed, the payment terms haven't changed, then how is it going to be possible to suddenly make payments? A person could use a consumer credit agency and have them work with creditors so you can have them paid off in 3 to 5 years. The other alternative is to file bankruptcy. There are several types of bankruptcy but one is chapter 7 which basically wipes the slate clean and gives people a fresh start. Either of the last two are viable options to repair bad credit. The only way to get rid of bad credit from your past is either to pay it, or erase it. Either way, you will be starting fresh with a new credit score.
